The Key personnel are:
Kelly Baigent is a Founding Member of Tui Studios and has been in the Animation industry for over 14 years. He has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the Traditional Animation process and has worked in all major artistic departments at Walt Disney Australia where he was one of the key creative and managerial personnel. His work as Unit Director on “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch” contributed to it’s Annie award for “Best Home Entertainment Production” in its year of release. He has been Animation Department Supervisor, Assistant Unit Director, Character Lead, Animator and Layout artist on many Disney productions. He also worked in the USA animating for Dreamworks and 20th Century Fox Feature Films. He has written and is currently directing a flash webisode comic series due for release late 2008.
Jonathan Dower is a Founding Member and Senior Artist at Tui Studios. Previous to his career at Disney Australia, he worked in the NZ industry and in the highly competitive Japanese Animation industry. In 2002 he won a New Zealand Video Award for “Best Animation” for his work on the clip for Tadpole’s “Better Days.” As a Disney Animator he supervised numerous characters in their straight to DVD feature films. He has since become a grandmaster of Flash and has Produced, Created and Consulted on numerous Flash and Computer animated products for TV and New Media. He is currently creating and developing series media for pre-schoolers.
Amy Wardrop is Tui Studios Producer/Financial Manager. She has worked in Business Consultation, Law and Digital TV and began her experience in the Animation industry at Walt Disney Australia in animated features production. She was in a Production Manager role for the NZ animated prime-time TV series "Bro 'Town" before coming on board with Tui, initially as a production supervisor. She currently facilitates and manages production and business administration, taking an active role in developing studio content/assets.
